I'm Seneca Cottom — an international sustainability executive, fractional advisor and professional speaker with over 15 years of experience creating effiecy and turning sustainability ambition into operational reality.
My Story
My career in sustainability started long before it was a boardroom priority. I built my expertise from the inside — leading sustainability programs within multi-brand retail groups and franchise operations, where the challenge wasn't writing a strategy but making it work across complex, fast-moving businesses with competing priorities.
Over the years I've worked across Europe, the GCC and the broader EMEA region — 17 countries in total — advising businesses ranging from regional retailers to global corporations on how to build sustainability programs that are commercially grounded, operationally realistic and genuinely impactful.
I've sat in the rooms where the hard decisions get made. I understand the gap between a good sustainability strategy and one that actually gets implemented — and I've spent my career closing it.

I don't believe in sustainability for its own sake. I believe in sustainability that makes businesses stronger, more resilient and better positioned for the future.
